Relationships can be fun and exciting but they can also be confusing and harmful. It’s important to understand what a healthy relationship looks like and to know what isn’t okay.

Relationship abuse comes in different forms, such as physical, emotional, sexual, financial. It can happen to anyone regardless of age, gender or sexual orientation.

If you’re being abused, it’s important to remember it’s not your fault and you can seek advice from the following helplines. If you or someone you are concerned about is in immediate danger, you should call 999.

If you think you may be causing harm to your partner, then you can call the Respect Phoneline or visit the website for advice in how to stop too.
